Panglao


Alona Beach is the top tourist destination in Bohol. With a beautiful one and a half kilometre white sand beach and crystal clear blue water it is perfect for both diving and relaxing. There are a number of hotels and restaurants in the area, making this a must visit part of Bohol.

Blood Compact Commemorative Shrine


This site celebrates one of the most important events in Philippine history. The Blood Compact is the the first treaty of friendship between Filipinos and foreigners. The famous blood compact (also know as Sandugo), was held between by Datu Sikatuna, a native chieftain, and Miguel Lopez de Legazpi, a Spanish explorer.

Located at Barangay Bool, only 3 kilometres from Tagbilaran City, it is very easy to get to.

Baclayon Church


Located at Poblacion Baclayon, Bohol, this 2nd oldest stone church in the Philippines is located some 6 kilometers east of Tagbilaran City.

River Cruise


With 2 floating restaurants, you have a choice of locations. The Loay Floating Restaurant is found at the bottom of Loboc River white the Loboc Floating restaurant is further upstream. Both offer a wonderful combination of local food while being shown the fauna and wildlife along the river as you cruise past.

Tarsier


A recognisable image of Bohol, these, these smallest-monkey creatures can only be found in Bohol. A visit to the Tarsier Conservation Area in Loboc is a must. The Tarsiers are looked after by the staff of the conservation area and as long as you stay quiet, you will be shown a number of Tarsiers hiding in the forest.

It is easy to find the Tarsier Conservation Area, which is about 20 kilometres away from Tagbilaran and takes about 30 minutes to get to.

Man Made Forest


The man-made mahogany forest is located on the border of Loboc and Bilar towns and can be visited as part of a trip to the Tarsier and/or the Chocolate Hills. It is about 40 kilometers from Tagbilaran and takes about 50 minutes to get there.

Chocolate Hills


These hills which turn brown during the dry season (hence the name), are one of the most famous of Bohol's Tourist attractions. With a very distinct shape, some refer to them as giant mole hills, the 1,268 hills are unusual geological formations. Ranging from 30-50 metres these hills are believed to be weather formed marine limestone onto of a layer of clay.

The viewing platform is about 65-75 kilometres away and will take about 1.5 hours

Anda


200 kilometres away from Tagbilaran, is the town of Anda with white sand beaches that surpass even those of Boracay. Quieter than the more well known white beach resort area of Panglao, Anda is a great place to visit and to unwind, with beautiful beaches and a very relaxed environment.

Being so far away from Tagbilaran, we recommend to hire a car to make this journey and to allow you to explore the region around Anda itself.
